Hernan Vilchez is a Director/Producer passionate about filming urban culture and indigenous peoples around the globe. In May 2014 he released his first feature documentary “Huicholes: The Last Peyote Guardians”, that already was awarded in 12 international film festivals. He currently shoots independent documentaries and produces his own international content for the successful series “The strictest parents in the world” (Kabel Eins, Germany), Job Change (SRF, Switzerland) and a new project for Red Bull: Wild Men.
In this Episode, Hernan shares with us his journey in making The Huicholes: The Last Peyote Guardians and his passion for our indigenous communities around the world. Hernan talks about his vision for our planet, shares his take on spirituality and tells us why he says, “Making this film was not my choice.”
